Notice of Hybrid Remote Public Meeting Collier County Community Redevelopment Agency Immokalee Local Redevelopment Advisory Board Immokalee Beautification MSTU Advisory Committee Collier County, Florida October 26, 2022 9:00 a.m. Notice is hereby given that the Immokalee Local Redevelopment Advisory Board and the Immokalee Beautification Municipal Service Taxing Unit (MSTU) Advisory Committee will meet on Wednesday, October 26, at 9:00 a.m. This will be a Hybrid Remote meeting and it will be held at the CareerSource SWFL, 750 South 5th Street, Immokalee, Florida. Some of the Board Members and staff may be appearing remotely, with staff present in person. The public may attend either remotely or in person. Individuals who would like to participate remotely should email Yuridia Zaragoza at [email protected] by October 25 at 4:00 p.m. The agenda will be posted on the Immokalee CRA’s website at https://immokaleecra.com/meetings-information. Remote participation is provided as a courtesy and is at the user’s risk. The County is not responsible for technical issues. About the public meeting: Two or more members of the Collier County Board of County Commissioners may be present and may participate at the meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be an item for discussion and action at a future meeting of those boards, councils or agencies. All interested parties are invited to attend, and to register to speak. All registered public speakers will be limited to three minutes unless changed by the chairman. Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-05 requires that all lobbyists shall, before engaging in any lobbying activities (including, but not limited to, addressing the Board of County Commissioners, an advisory board or quasi-judicial board), register with the Clerk to the Board at the Board Minutes and Records Department. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or other reasonable accommodations to participate in this proceeding, should contact the Collier County Facilities Management Division, located at 3335 Tamiami Trail E., Suite 101, Naples, Florida 34112, or (239) 252-8380, as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event. Collier Area Transit November 2022 Route Modifications Public Workshop The Collier Public Transit & Neighborhood Enhancement (PTNE) Division is hosting a public workshop on October 14, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. for the upcoming route modifications that will take effect November 27. Coming this November with our seasonal route update, changes will be taking place across multiple Collier Area Transit routes. As part of the process of introducing these changes and informing the public, a public comment period is held, and a public workshop will take place. As a result of our Comprehensive Operations Analysis (COA) completed in 2021, we are acting on the recommendations of the service enhancements. We have proposed changes to five of our existing routes including the consolidation of four routes into two routes. These enhancements consist of service frequency, route consolidation, and realignment modifications along with several minor modifications needed to approach a cost neutral implementation. These changes will be available for public review online and across multiple locations throughout Collier County. The public comment period for the November 2022 Route Modifications ended on September 22, 2022. Curfew Enacted for Parts of Collier County and the City of Naples There will be a mandatory county curfew in effect from midnight, 12 a.m. to 6 a.m., for all incorporated and unincorporated areas south and west of U.S. 41. There will be a mandatory curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for residential areas within the City of Naples. This curfew does not apply to the City of Marco Island and the City of Everglades. The purpose of the curfew is to protect the safety of the citizens of Collier County and their property as they begin the process of recovering from the effects of Hurricane Ian. The curfew does not apply to emergency responders, employees at healthcare facilities, critical staff for businesses that provide essential services, or those seeking medical assistance. Violation of the curfew is a second-degree misdemeanor. Residents with questions may call the Hotline at (239) 252-8444 (within Collier County, residents may dial 311).
