Avow requests aid for patient support While the Avow campus has minimal damage, many staff members who care for patients have experienced significant losses NAPLES, Fla. (Sept. 30, 2022) – The Avow campus had minimal damage from Hurricane Ian and the team is working diligently to provide superior patient care during this state of emergency. “Many of our employees use their cars to travel dozens of miles each day to reach patients in their homes. Many of these same patients now face dire situations after the hurricane. However, our employees are also suffering from the havoc of Hurricane Ian. Several have had extensive home and vehicle damage,” said Jaysen Roa, CEO of Avow. “We know that devastation is everywhere, and we plan to continue to support our community during this tragedy.” In-kind donations are now being accepted at the Avow campus to supply necessities to Avow employees, patients and families. Needs include towels, sheets, air mattresses, pillows, personal hygiene supplies of toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, wipes, non-perishable food, water, Gatorade, cleaning supplies, trash bags, first aid supplies, batteries, flashlights, battery and cell phone chargers, portable fans, blue tarps, paper towels and toilet paper. Donations can be delivered to Avow’s Ispiri Building at 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Starting the week of October. 3, donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Gift cards ($25 denominations best) are also appreciated for gas, grocery, Walmart, and Target.
