Moorings Park Foundation Awards $25,000 Grant to Hodges University September 6, 2022 –FORT MYERS, FLA – Hodges University accepted a $25,000 grant from Moorings Park Foundation. The grant will benefit Hodges University’s health science programs, which include nursing, physical therapy, EMS, dental hygiene, and clinical mental health counseling. “We greatly appreciate the generosity of The Moorings Park Foundation. This will help us continue providing top-notch equipment and supplies for our students,” said Dr. Christopher Parfitt, Senior Director, Grants and Alumni Relations for Hodges University. “Our students are the future healthcare professionals our region needs.” The Moorings Park Foundation, through the generosity of individuals, supports its mission through philanthropy and charitable giving. The foundation also works with and supports outside organizations in ways that benefit both Moorings Park and the participating organization. Hodges University, a regionally accredited, private nonprofit institution founded in 1990, prepares students to leverage higher learning in their personal, professional, and civic endeavors. With over 14,000 graduates having continued success in careers, Hodges is recognized for developing programs that are uniquely designed and delivered to serve a diverse adult learner population. With a campus in Fort Myers, Florida, Hodges provides flexible day, evening, and online classes taught by world-class faculty for undergraduate and graduate degrees. Hodges is also the first designated as a Hispanic serving institution in this region, and is a member of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU).
