Collier Area Transit November 2022 Route Modifications 30-Day Public Comment Period Announced The Collier Public Transit & Neighborhood Enhancement (PTNE) Division is announcing a 30-day public comment period for the upcoming route modifications that will take effect on November 27. With our seasonal route update coming this November, changes will be taking place across multiple Collier Area Transit routes. As part of the process of introducing these changes and informing the public, a public comment period is held, and a public workshop will take place if required. As a result of our Comprehensive Operations Analysis (COA) completed in 2021, we are acting on the recommendations of the service enhancements. We have proposed changes to five existing routes, including consolidating four routes into two. These enhancements consist of service frequency, route consolidation, realignment modifications, and several minor modifications needed to approach a cost-neutral implementation. These changes will be available for public review online and across multiple locations throughout Collier County. The public comment period for the November 2022 Route Modifications will end on September 22, 2022.
