Believing In Girls Luncheon Raises $120,000 for Pace Center for Girls – Collier at Immokalee On April 22, Pace girls lit up the afternoon with song, laughter and even a few tears at the Believing in Girls Empowerment Luncheon. “Our girls are what this luncheon is all about,” shared Marianne Kearns, Executive Director for the Collier at Immokalee center. “We have Pace girls share their stories, why they sought out Pace and how Pace has made a difference in their lives. It brings the Pace story full circle to all our guests.” Quail West Country Club provided the perfect backdrop for the event with almost 300 guests in attendance. Pace’s signature red, white and hearts were splashed throughout the room and at the post luncheon reception. Pace guests included state Sen. Kathleen Passidomo, Commissioner William L. McDaniel Jr., Sheriff Kevin Rambosk and Erika Donalds, wife of Rep. Byron Donalds. “It was amazing to see so many of our supporters come out for our first in-person luncheon since 2019,” expressed Kearns. “The outpouring of support means so much to our girls. Funds raised will go toward student services, providing a path for our Pace girls to succeed where they may have fallen through the cracks otherwise.” The Believing in Girls Empowerment Luncheon was presented by title sponsor Dan Kowal & Lauren Maxwell joined by the Maxwell Mortgage Team and supported by key sponsors including Stock Development, Premiere Sotheby’s International Realty, MidWestOne Bank, Clive Daniel Home, California Closets, The Village Shops at Venetian Bay, and AlliKriste Custom Cabinetry and Kitchen Design.
