Three attorneys of the Naples law firm of Cardillo Keith Bonaquist, P.A., have been selected to be included in Naples Illustrated’s 2021 list of Top Lawyers, which will appear in the September issue of the magazine. John P. Cardillo, John T. Cardillo and William D. Keith are among the selected attorneys. The research for the Top Lawyers list was created by PRS (Professional Research Services) and is based on an online peer-review survey sent to all certified lawyers within Collier and Lee counties. Thousands of votes were cast honoring excellence in all areas of practice. Inclusion in Naples Illustrated’s Top Lawyers is based solely upon one’s standing within their peer group and cannot be purchased. John P. Cardillo, who is listed under the Personal Injury Litigation, Trusts and Estates category, is a native of Fort Lee, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor’s of Arts from Furman University in 1964, continued on to West Virginia University for graduate work and subsequently received his JD from the University of South Carolina in 1968. In 2021, Cardillo was awarded the 2021 AV Preeminent Rating, which is the highest honor given from the association. The award is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers. He also received the 2020 Platinum Compleat Lawyer Award from his alma mater, the University of South Carolina School of Law. Additionally, he was reappointed to the Florida Bar Foundation Board of Directors by the Florida Supreme Court to serve an additional three-year term. John T. Cardillo, who is listed under the Estate Planning category, is a Naples, Florida native. He graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in 2000, and from Florida State University with a JD in 2003, the same year he was admitted to the Florida Bar. In 2021, Cardillo was appointed to the City of Naples Ethics Committee. He also is a member of the Leadership Collier Class of 2021, which takes professionals through a variety of sessions designed to grow their leadership skills through a better understanding of human services, education, health care, growth management and more. After graduation, he will serve as session chair for Agriculture Day in the following year’s Leadership Collier class sessions (Class of 2022).
