The Greater Naples Chamber will host Jenna Persons, a commissioner on the Florida Commission on the Status of Women, to discuss the role women play in shaping Florida’s future at Wake Up Naples on Thursday, Feb. 13. The event will be held at the Hilton Naples. Networking begins at 7:30 a.m., with the program starting promptly at 8 a.m.
Persons will discuss what the Commission on the Status of Women is doing to advance women and children in Florida, what the organization learned as part of its 2019 Voices of Women Survey, and the role women play in shaping Florida’s future.
A fifth generation Southwest Floridian, Persons was appointed to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women in 2017. She has served on the Lee County Bar Association Executive Committee, is a founding charter member and past treasurer of the Tiger Bay Club of Southwest Florida and is a member of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce.
