Hodges University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program has earned programmatic accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Additionally, 100% of the first graduating class of BSN students passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) exam the first time. “This is yet another proud day at Hodges University, said Dr. John Meyer, president of Hodges University. “Seeking the ACEN accreditation for our BSN program is an undertaking that can take two years to achieve. We were in candidacy in June 2018, and we earned this distinction in just 15 months.” Hodges University held the first pinning ceremony for its inaugural BSN class in the Spring 2019. “Once our students graduate from our program, they are eligible, and more importantly, prepared to take the NCLEX exam,” added Dr. Jessica Palumbo, Director of Nursing, Hodges University. “And I’m proud to say that all of them passed this rigorous exam on the first try.”
