The Naples Art Association (NAA), (www.NaplesArt.org) - a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing education, interest, and participation in the visual arts in Southwest Florida, opens the exhibition “Fantastical Art” with a preview reception and ICE CREAM SOCIAL TODAY, July 12, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. Exhibiting artists David Coolidge, Muffy Clark Gill and Emile Walker will attend and be available for questions. The public is welcome. The Naples Art Association is located in downtown Naples at 585 Park Street, one-half block south of 5th Avenue South. Gallery Hours are 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday with free admission. “Fantastical Art” features 53 original artworks in painting, mixed media, works on paper, photography, batik and sculpture from its private art collection as well as that of the Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (CMON). The collections are represented by leading 20th Century American artists including Will Barnet, Dorothy Gillespie, Richard Segalman and Hunt Slonem, as well as renowned Naples artists Muffy Clark Gill and Emilie Walker. The CMON private art collection includes works by American artists featuring children and/or animals as the subjects. Attend the preview TODAY: Friday, July 12, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00P.M. The exhibition continues through August 2, 2019. The Naples Art Association is located in downtown Naples at 585 Park Street one-half block south of 5th Avenue South. Created in 1998, the NAA’s Art Collection features works by artists who have lived in or had a connection to Florida. Now featuring over 200 original artworks, the NAA’s Art Collection serves its educational mission by providing original artwork for study and enjoyment. The NAA’s Art Collection is exhibited at the NAA periodically throughout the year and at selected off-site venues in and around Naples. Currently, the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce is exhibiting the NAA’s color and black & white photographs featuring Collier County locations and subjects.
