Naples, Fla. (April 30, 2019) – Naples Soap Company, a retail destination known for its skincare line made from natural and organic ingredients, recently named Debra Orringer as company wellness director. In this new role, Orringer will be responsible for helping to improve the overall well-being of employees through motivational training, stress management tactics, exercise incentives and healthy eating education. Externally, Orringer will provide wellness education through company blog posts, newsletters, social media channels and speaking opportunities. “We’re excited to introduce this new position to our company,” said Deanna Wallin, founder and CEO of Naples Soap Company. “I started Naples Soap as a skincare company, but as we have grown over the last ten years, I’ve come to realize the importance of taking a holistic approach to wellness. What you put on your skin and nutritionally into your body is equally important as making time to exercise, relax and focus on your overall mental well-being. We look forward to bringing this message of self-care and wellness to our associates and company supporters.” Orringer relocated to Florida in 1999 to earn her Master of Science degree in clinical exercise physiology from the University of Florida after earning her bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Binghamton University. She continued her post graduate training with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. She is accredited through the American Council on Exercise as a Medical Exercise Specialist as well as the American College of Sports Medicine. Previous corporate clients have included Guthy-Renker at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, ZUMBA Fitness, Madd Dogg Athletics and WCI. She is a competitive swimmer with USA Swimming, a blogger and internet television host as well as an author for several national trade magazines.
