NAPLES, FL, -- April 17, 2019– Peninsula Engineering, a Southwest Florida full-service engineering firm, continues expansion with new projects and team members. For the past eight years, Peninsula Engineering has provided civil engineering services for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects of all sizes in Southwest Florida. This year, Peninsula Engineering reports increased growth with new projects including Addison Place Apartments, Tide and Starbucks of Park Shore, Harborside Veterinary Clinic, Goodwill Donation Center, Magnolia Square Apartments and Price Street Plaza. In Lee County, Peninsula Engineering’s newest work can be found at Springs at Colonial Apartments and the new Fairfield Inn by Marriott, among others. Peninsula Engineering has also played an important role in commercial and residential projects in the town of Ave Maria, Collier and Lee counties’ fastest selling master planned community. “We started out by providing civil engineering services on a few local projects,” states John English, vice president of Engineering at Peninsula Engineering. “In the past few years we have grown to offer a broad spectrum of related services including construction management, owner’s representative, environmental services, landscape architecture and design, and project management.” Peninsula Engineering currently counts 17 employees in its office located on Golden Gate Parkway in Naples, Florida. “We recently doubled our office space which speaks to the growth we see happening here,” adds English. “Our team now includes expertise not only in civil engineering, but also in construction management, landscape architecture, environmental permitting and owner’s representative services. We have also recently initiated our internship program to start introducing future engineers to the profession.” Peninsula Engineering and its team members are committed to the local community with participation in several professional organizations including Collier Building Industry Association, AFCD and Florida Engineering Society and non-profits including Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida, Naples Chamber of Commerce, and local Rotary Clubs. They support local education centers including Florida Gulf Coast University, Barron Collier High School, Gulf Coast High School and Lorenzo Walker Technical College.
