NAPLES, Fla. – The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples (C’mon) celebrated their one-millionth visitor on Saturday, March 30th. The Elliott family from Rhode Island received an enthusiastic welcome from C’mon staff and a gift bag with assorted items from the C’mon Store. “When C’mon first opened in 2012, it was estimated 75,000 guests would visit within the first year. Instead, C’mon welcomed 195,353 guests through its doors in the first year alone. Based on the initial projections the one-millionth visitor should have arrived mid-June 2025. We are overwhelmed with the incredible success of reaching this amazing milestone 6 years earlier than projected,” says Executive Director, Karysia Demarest. C’mon has made strides in refreshing well-loved exhibits with a redesign of the summer exhibit in Mother Nature’s House, ABC Tot Lot, and The C’mon Trolley. In addition, construction has started on the first, new permanent exhibit, The Inventioneer’s Lab. An innovated space designed to empower children to move from imagining to doing, The Inventioneer’s Lab is set to open Fall 2019.
