Marco Island, January 30, 2019: Marco Island Center for the Arts is pleased to present fingerstyle guitarist Glenn Roth. His compositions suggest multiple guitars, but it is really just one guy, ten flying fingers, and one instrument. Glenn Roth is a licensed performer of the MTA’s “Music under New York” program. His concert hall is the vaulted splendor of Grand Central Terminal or the tunnels and platforms of the New York City subway system! When he is not “underground” he plays concerts throughout the northeast and tours nationally and internationally. This phenomenal guitarist has released six CDs and his original compositions have been hailed as “sheer virtuosity” and “delicate, accomplished solo acoustic guitar work.” Mark your calendar for this special Musical Interludes series concert and reserve your seat for this guitarist that has “his thumb riding the bassline and the melody driving all” on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Marco Island Center for the Arts. The concert will take place in the Art Center’s Lauritizen and Rush galleries. The ticket price is $25 for members of the Marco Island Center for the Arts and $30 for non-members.
