Love going to the beach, but hate trying to find parking during the busy season? Let Collier Area Transit (CAT) take you to the beach.
The popular Beach Buses are back for another busy beach season, ready to provide free shuttle service to North Collier beaches, now through April 29, 2019.
The buses will operate from 8 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., then again from 4:30 p.m. to 7:10 p.m., Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The Beach Buses will have two routes, stopping at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, Vanderbilt Beach, Conner Park and Creekside. The first route will travel on 111th Ave/Immokalee Road from Creekside to Delnor-Wiggins State Park. The
second route will travel from Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park down Gulf Shore Drive, Vanderbilt Beach Road, U.S. 41 to Creekside and back around.
Bring your chairs, coolers, beach bags and umbrellas; but, leave your pets at home. Only service animals are allowed on the Beach Bus.
Please note while the shuttle service is free, there is a $2 entrance fee to Wiggins Pass State Park. Payment will be collected on the bus. Please have exact change; no change will be provided. State park passes will be honored.
If shopping is on the agenda, the Beach Buses will pass by Mercato shopping center, as well as other retail and restaurant locations along U.S. 41
The Beach Buses offer flag-down service, so riders can catch a free ride at any location along the routes.
Two New CAT Beach Bus Routes this season
