NAPLES, Fla. (Sept. 17, 2018) – The Leadership Collier Foundation (LCF), an affiliate of The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, announces the Leadership Collier™ Class of 2019.
Leadership Collier was formed by The Chamber in 1988 to develop a network of informed citizens prepared to assume leadership roles in our community. The Chamber believes knowledge is a key element and prime motivator of leadership. Consequently, the primary objective of Leadership Collier is to educate local business leaders about the societal and economic challenges facing the community today.
The nine-month program includes 10 full-day sessions. This past Friday, Sept. 13, the 2019 class kicked-off the program with a celebration at the The Arlington of Naples. Over the course of 10 sessions participants fully explore local government, education, economic development, agriculture the arts and more.
“Change and growth has long been a part of Collier County and we see these elements accelerating at a rapid pace today. It’s great to know we have so many community members in our Leadership Collier Class of 2019 that are interested in taking on the leadership and stewardship necessary to help us grow yet keeping Collier County a very special place,” said Chief Stephanie Spell, LCF Board Chairwoman.
