The artist showcased in the La Petite Galerie, Martha Fort, focuses her attention on seeing the energy and emotions from art. Martha Fort’s diverse art career led her to be a muralist for hand-carved wooden carousels that are found all over the world. In December 2016, she embarked on her dream journey as a roaming painter with her studio inside a trailer towed behind an RV. She was led by her heart, and found her art becoming more evocative and personal. She uses the energy of fantasy and symbolism to infuse her paintings with meaning. All the artwork is for sale unless otherwise noted. Marco Island Center for the Arts offers a diverse array of classes.
