NAPLES, FL. (May. 18, 2018) DeAngelis Diamond held a topping out ceremony for The Springs addition at Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers, FL. This project includes new construction of a 28-bed, 19,700 sq.ft. memory support facility, as well as an interior renovation totaling 17,400 sq.ft. The renovation includes a kitchen expansion, 25-bed assisted living, new parking, new welcome center and an addition to the current activity wing. It also includes an exterior update of the existing building skin and roof.
This topping out ceremony marks the final dry-in of all the roofs on the project. As a thank you for all their hard work, Shell Point Retirement Community provided lunch for the subcontractors working on the building.
