(Naples, Fla., March 27, 2018) — You’ve heard of a job fair. Seacrest Country Day School in Naples has transformed that concept to fit the needs of modern students and employers. CareerQuest pairs students with experts from various industries in an interactive, roundtable format so they can get first-hand advice from professionals before entering college. CareerQuest is on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on the Seacrest campus, 7100 Davis Boulevard, Naples. More than two dozen speakers from medical, finance, sports marketing, hospitality, video game design, architecture, business, human resources, forensics, culinary and other industries are volunteering their time to participate in CareerQuest. Along with event partner The Leadership Collier Foundation™, Seacrest is honored to welcome students from Collier County Public Schools Career Academies, Lorenzo Walker Technical High School, the Immokalee Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County, Champions for Learning, Grace Place and graduating seniors from Everglades City. “It has always been our goal to grow CareerQuest into an event that could include the greater Naples community, including students served through different area programs such as Grace Place for Children, The Immokalee Foundation, Champions for Learning, and the Boys and Girls Club,” says Mrs. Amy Feins, Seacrest Director of College Counseling. “This year, through our partnership with The Leadership Collier Foundation™, we were able to offer this opportunity to more than 100 students who might not otherwise have the chance to make this type of personal connection with so many local professionals. We hope to provide this unique opportunity for many years to come.” CareerQuest is part of Seacrest’s comprehensive and individualized Right Fit College program that commences in 9th grade and culminates senior year.
