(February 23, 2018) – The Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau has entered into an agreement with Synergy-Connect to provide sales representation services for the Midwest meetings market. Synergy-Connect offers a team of seasoned sales professionals to enhance and add to the efforts of the bureau, which currently has one group sales representative on staff. The Synergy-Connect team of Maura Zhang and Donna Mitsos brings extensive experience and contacts in the events, meetings, incentives, travel and hospitality industries. “Having the added presence in such an important feeder market is sure to increase our leads and booked business from top Midwest-based meeting planners,” said Debi DeBenedetto, group sales and marketing manager for the CVB. “The Synergy-Connect team will be assisting the CVB with tradeshows, sales missions and familiarization trips to our destination by key group meeting planners.” The Naples, Marco Island, Everglades CVB provides tourism destination marketing and management for Collier County in Southwest Florida, the region known as Florida’s Paradise Coast.
