Naples, Fla. (November 17, 2017) – The Collier County community on Florida’s Paradise Coast comes together Saturday, December 9 for Naples is Rockin’ – a concert to benefit those hit hardest by Hurricane Irma. Naples is Rockin’ is a celebration of our resiliency and our willingness to help our fellow community members in their time of need. The celebration and concert will begin at 5 p.m. at the corner of Fifth Avenue south and Goodlette-Frank Road in downtown Naples. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Kicking off the event will be local artist and “The Voice” finalist Casey Weston, followed by “20Ride,” America’s number one Zac Brown Tribute Band. Taking the stage as the top act of the evening is the band Sugar Ray featuring Mark McGrath, who will play all their hits, including “Fly,” “Every Morning” and “Someday.” Over the course of the evening several other surprise musicians and guests will be introduced, all coming together in support of our community moving forward. “This is a chance for both locals and visitors to enjoy some great music and support those in our area that were hardest hit and are still recovering from Hurricane Irma,” said Jack Wert, executive director of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau. “As far as our downtown and beach areas, we are letting people know the “Paradise Coast is Clear,” but recovery is still underway in harder hit communities like Goodland, Immokalee and Everglades City.” The concert is made possible by the generous support of title sponsor Arthrex, Inc., a leading health care innovator dedicated to making people’s lives better in our community, along with the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Fresh From Florida. Additional sponsorships are available. Families are invited downtown for some great music in support of those most impacted by Hurricane Irma, which made landfall on September 10. Tickets range from $25 for general admission to $55 for reserved seats and $125 for VIP seating along with food and beverages. Tickets for kids age 4 to 11 are $10. The Community Foundation of Collier County’s “Collier Comes Together Disaster Relief Fund” will distribute proceeds from the concert to the Collier County community to offset unmet needs in our hardest hit areas. Tax deductible donations can be made directly to the Community Foundation at CFCollier.org. Concert details are available at ParadiseCoast.com/articles/NaplesIsRockin.
