Hilton Naples Maintains Florida Green Lodging Three Palm Designation NAPLES, Fla. – August 7, 2023 – Florida Green Lodging, a program of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, today honored Hilton Naples for maintaining the program’s Three Palm level designation. Florida hotels may achieve One, Two, Three or Four Palm levels based on their robust implementation of “green” practices. Participating hotels are evaluated every three years by Florida Green Lodging for the designations. Hilton Naples became the first Three Palm designated hotel in Naples in November 2014. There are now nine Florida Green Lodging properties in Collier County, five are Two Palm and four are Three Palm designated. “Hilton Naples embraces the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for future generations by implimenting environmental best management practices suggested by the Florida Green Lodging Program,” said Clark Hill, general manager, Hilton Naples. “The program is a wonderful public/private initiative that benefits Florida’s natural enviornment and its residents.” Hilton Naples maintained its Three Palm certification by executing quantifiable, environmentally friendly practices including substantial recycling, limited water consumption, dramatically lowered waste, and reduced natural gas and electrical usage.
