YMCA of Collier County Launches Back-to-School Supply Drive for Kids in Need. July 2023 — The YMCA of Collier County is excited to announce the launch of our Back-to-School Supply Drive. This initiative helps provide basic school supplies such as notebooks, pencils, crayons and more for students in need. With the start of the new school year rapidly approaching, it's essential that these children have the necessary materials for their educational journey. The goal is to ensure that all students have access to crucial academic supplies and to equip them with the tools needed for success. We are inviting all members of our community to come together and help make a positive impact by contributing to this supply drive. All donations will be appreciated, and every contribution is important in helping us reach our goal. “We want to make sure that every child has access to the supplies they need for success," said Charlene Rose, School Age Programs Director of the YMCA of Collier County. "A donation from you can help provide them with a sense of security and optimism as they look forward to a successful school year.” The recommended supply list includes pens and pencils, notebooks, crayons, rulers, scissors, erasers and glue sticks.
